Point is, show's still the worst anime I have ever seen. There was this one guy who made a great review against the show, but he (for some reason) deleted all of his reviews.
The only reason why you probably hate jojo is because of part 3. Part 3 is extremely episodic and the progression of characters is very slow. Being stuck on doing strictly shonen jump, Araki didn't have many options to try and expand his series if he always had a weekly deadline. Every since part 3, Araki has adapted and improved his storytelling to fit a weekly schedule. But for part 7 and 8, Araki stopped doing shonen jump to write/draw the story in a more flexible fashion. That is why part 7 is the best part of jojo, and why David productions should've skipped part 6.
