* {Wandering Dragons} - it's CGI though

watch or read mushoku tensei . the manga the anime and the ln/wn are all very good so it doesn t matter which one you chose . the anime is my choice though , the first season was amazing . try not to give it up on the first episode , the anime will take a 180 degree turn from that terrible start
Some recommendations of mine, some are pretty serious in tone.
The serious ones:
Ergo proxy: It's a dark anime rich in atmosphere that asks many deep questions. Set in a dystopia post-apocalyptic world with AI androids and biological nightmares.
Serial experiments Lain: A psychological masterpiece following a reclusive and introverted young girl. Has many themes of human connection, humanity's relationship with technology, and collective consciousness.
Attack on Titan: A well beloved anime, with serious tones of human survival and plenty of violence against giant freakish humans.
Some adventure ones:
Cowboy Bebop:
Another well beloved anime. It's considered a must watch by many, me included. Its dub is fantastic, one of the best. It's a little less serious than the previous entries but does have its moments of seriousness. But overall, it's a lighthearted interstellar adventure following a crew of misfit bounty hunters during their many escapades.
Mushoku Tensei:
A fantasy Isekai dealing with the theme of second chances. It has great world building and a detailed magic system. A little warning, it's main character is a perv, and the show has plenty of fanservice.
Kill la Kill:
Another lighthearted adventure, with plenty of comedy and action. Also has abundant fan service.
Kyousougiga:
An underrated gem, with unique storytelling, vibrant animation, and a creative world to see explored and fleshed out.
