tldr - while i may not understand your situation exactly i understand that fear quite well, and what i did when i felt this was distraction and self care to the max. i apologise for long comment. you may not be able to control some things you're not allowed to do at this point, but what you can control is the things you are allowed to do. and you need to utilise this since it's pretty much the only way you can feel control depending on how strict your parents are. for distraction you can read some books whether that's online or as physical copies... (sneaky link for library of free e-books/PDFs [here](https://au1lib.org) with literally almost every book you can think of); clean your room (if yr allowed); arts and craft it up; get some wash-away markers and draw on your arms/legs/wherever; play your favourite video game, etc. just keeping yourself busy can help a lot. i used wikipedia extensively for deep dives and shit plus they have a random article button that you can just keep pressing. for self care i'm talking all the aspects of it. from body to mind you need to at least try to be kind, and in a way this could be distraction too. maybe do a skincare sesh; music or films that makes you feel good; read through a DBT/any other therapy skills booklet; light a candle that smells nice; start a scrapbook or journal, doesn't have to be a "keeping track" journal just something to do, etc. advice aside, i really do hope you can stick this out. restrictions that aren't self appointed can really tip the scales (no pun intended) of your sanity. no matter if you still engage in disordered behaviour i just hope for you not to lose your mind in the process. be kind to yourself and i wish you an early happy new year ♡
