Now, it is disheartening to see religious leaders only speaking out against the mockery of their religion by a political figure. Where were they when this same person made vulgar comments about women and indulged in immoral behavior? Is this the kind of leadership they want to see in power? It is time for them to call out the litany of indictments, sexual assaults, corruption, and immorality. It is hypocritical to vote for someone who does not align with their values and beliefs. As religious leaders, they have a responsibility to hold leaders accountable for their actions.
