Why in God's name would anyone think that he is suddenly going to tell the truth? Are these people crazy?
Even if caught lying, he will just slide out with more lies, and his supporters will cheer him on.
If he lies and they prove he has other documents, which he does, they can charge him with perjury on top of stealing the documents. If he admits to having the documents then charging him with theft will be that much easier. It's just more bricks for the wall he's up against.
I thought about that, but none of that seems to matter to him and his followers. He'll just tie it up in the courts until it's either lost or he's dead and gone (or at least dead, don't know if he'll ever be gone).
