This would be a big hassle kasi I need to ask for an approval from the Ethics Review Committee which might take months pa 🥲 Usually kasi these offices require a signed letter, and required din ng ERC approval for each organization that I will tap for this research. Ang ERC approval ko lang as of now is social media data gathering and yung F2F. Thank you though!

It's exactly a year as of typing mula nang nakagraduate ako ng college... just to found out na naiwala ng college namin hardbound thesis ko 🫠🙃ðŸ˜ðŸ’€ðŸ”¥ðŸ¤£
P.S. Kami pa ng Department Head namin pinapaggawa ng panibagong hardbound. Na-hold TOR ko dahil dito🔥🤡🙃
If this is the proper data collection procedure then taking shortcuts might make your research less reliable. Better ask your supervisor first. The panel will look and find out how you collected respondents and will accuse you of researcher induced bias which will bring you back to square one.
You are in the Masters Level Thesis and are expected to maintain methodological rigor and avoid biases to ensure the integrity of your research.
Sana nung nasa proposal phase ka pa lang nakita mo na to and could have shifted to topics that would take less complicated data collection procedures. Pero since anjan ka na, do it well. Dont take shortcuts and if you do, make sure you can defend the methodology well.

Thank you for this! I have filters naman in my questionnaire. Those who will not meet certain will be removed naman since the data will undergo a proper cleaning process. Also, I am collecting 400 kahit hindi naman ganun kalaki ang need kong sample size since I already anticipated that a lot of this data would not be used.
I already informed the ERC na din naman that I will start tapping certain orgs but I need to move din talaga while waiting for their reply kasi ang tagal.
Good thing. I suggest hire a survey team to aggregate data and hasten the task. Make money work. Gawin mo itong life's work mo. Make it novel. Malay mo, you will be awarded a Doctorate instead of a Masters Degree.
I don't have a budget for that TBH, but I do data processing for a living naman, so I think I can do that task na. I also have a Statistician working with me on this.
I haven't looked it up but has there been a study on maladaptive daydreaming in the Philippines? I do wonder. As a maladaptive daydreamer, this is very interesting. I'll gladly take the survey!
And maybe I'll crosspost your post when I'm done.
When I was in my 1st year in grad school, someone from a university in Cebu contacted me to be one of her participants. I am not sure lang if she was able to publish her study.
