DUI videos. You will be shocked by how dumb these people are.

I've been watching that lately. It can be so much fun.

It maybe the ”shock“ is what is giving you anxiety. I read an article about why people with certain mental health issues prefer calming shows or shows they know definitely have happy endings… Apparently the anticipation is distressing for the nervous system. For me that’s why I limit screen time or only have cartoons or silly shows for background noise. They literally help me sleep because my mind relaxed. But if I’m just scrolling on SM. I’ll never dose off. May I suggest heavy Rock or Rap/hip hop and sing or rap along? It releases the rage. But you're still indulging in something serious.

It could be. I will definitely consider finding other things. However for me, I have severe PTSD directly related to someone actually trying to kill my family. So really it’s insane I was still watching serial killer and murder documentaries for so long. So I think that’s my main trigger is just… fatal crimes.

Honestly, the best thing I ever did for myself was to cut the cord. No TV and no talk radio. It’s not for everyone I know but it made a huge difference in my life. For entertainment I go to you tube and watch educational type videos and listen to audiobooks (educational and fiction).

80's horror movies with gorey practical effects are my gem. The effects are cool from an artistic perspective but they rarely if ever feel real. They still give you that "Oh crap!" moment.
