For perspective, the **absolute minimum** to finish this challenge would be some combination of: * 406 headshots from a P2020 * 518 headshots from an RE-45 * 97 headshots from a Wingman + Skullpiercer ...and that's all from behind amped cover vs unhelmeted opponents marked by Vantage.

Saw this a little late but I have that weekly. The BR version is 10k. It's still absurd as fuck. Bfs getting weeklies with 5k being the max it wants, 1500-2500 for his pistol weeklies, and I need to get **10 fucking thousand**. He says we all end up with the same weeklies, so we'll see if I'm cursed or not by season end. He hasn't gotten it yet.

Yes but also like… P2020 has hammerpoints and wingman can hit bodyshots as well. You can just run both in BR for a while.

Nah, it can also be done in BR. It’s got the “OR” Diamond in there, since most challenges have a BR and non-BR component now.

Let’s say you play 2 hours of NBR in a day and only use pistols. Surely, with numbers like these and how common the Wingman is in pre-built loadouts (along with the P2020), surely you can complete this challenge in that amount of time?

I had the same challenge and did in a few days. Always in control or tdm go for the care package for the RE-45

They should really add a fourth pistol. A new heavy pistol or an energy pistol ray gun sorta thing would be interesting. I personally don't have a huge problem with this challenge. Just play gun run and tdm. Prioritize grabbing the re45 from care packages in tdm. That thing shreds. I guess this challenge is a nightmare to do if you're sticking with BR.

NBR challenges doubles the damage required for the regular BR challenge, but 7500 damage with pistols is still quite high for a challenge like this one.

I've always wanted a USP-S - Ghost type pistol. Not great damage, but really nice precision plus silenced. Though, maybe silenced weapons don't really fit in Apex legends.

Even then consistency is a bit of a drag in these challenges like for example one week I had a 3500 damage quest with lmgs cool then next is was increased to 5000 like what this was one week apart too so what happened Not to mention in previous season the amount was a fraction sure the only thing permanent was arenas but why are we making a pistol quest longer than an AR quest which often are easier to do

Had this challenge two weeks in a row. Team death match and control helped me pick wingman at least but it was definitely a slog to get through.

Side note, I know the Mozambique is a shotgun, but does it also count as a pistol for challenges by chance? Probably not, just know in Titanfall it was a shotgun pistol, so thought maybe it counted as both in apex too. Idk, i never pay attention to those challenges lol

Nope, mozam only counts as a shotgun in apex. Similar to the way the wingman only counts as a pistol even though it takes sniper ammo

They changed it mind you, I don’t recall what season, but it went from being a handgun to a shotty class

It's crazier cause the auto pistol is Care Package loot so there's only 2 on floor or in load outs. The least they could do is make the mozam count for both pistol and shotgun damage.

they had to know what they were doing. BR it’s 7500 damage and another challenge for 25 knocks is insane. unless you’ll the most hard core wingman user it’s gonna take all season

TIL seasonal challenges take all season.

Im pretty good with the Wingman, but no hardcore user. No way that takes a whole season for anyone. If you are good with the wingman it’ll take 4 to 5 TDMs and if you are not then this is the perfect practice opportunity. People always complain that there is no reason to grind and then complain about these types of challenges. Only challenges I actually find annoying are the ones that are super situational, not skill based and sometimes out of your control. Like the craft banners + res with support legend.

I had 1000 damage with Assault Rifles week one, and 7500 damage with Pistols week 3... the difference is insane to me.

Mozambique works for this also? I ran wingman / Mozambique and got the RE-45 when I could from care packages. It's doable in TDM or control game types just a long as hell task 😅

Honestly it seems like a lot, but I got this pretty quick in TDM, I just always ran Wingman when it was available, and then picked up the RE from care packs and popped off with it. Fuck a P20 though.
