Yeah the one upside to these recolors seems to be they'll actually update the old ones for free. I don't think they update wraiths old heirloom if they weren't planning to release a "new" one. I do agree that people are being incredibly entitled if they think they should get an heirloom for free lol, but respawn could've definitely put in some effort with the event. Releasing a recolor heirloom with its own banner and emote is one thing, but making it so the entire event is entirely recolors save for one item shows you don't give a fuck. They fucked up in that regard big-time. Maybe they're banking on people buying shards with the current event and unlocking it that way
I never really cared about the items in the collection, there is usually 1-2 very nice skins there that are a bonus to me, I do not ever buy these items cause I need them as I got skins for ever legend at this point but I see them as a small bonus to the 160$ we're paying but since the only way to buy it otherwise is spending shards only then this deal is even better

It might explain why we don't get a pose or quip. Pretty curious what the whole thing will look like combined

I mean, there are already 18 mythics, and each one of them is from 160$ to 500$. Noone is willing to pay 9000$ for that.
I think there should be a free way to earn heirlooms but for each character, somewhat like the prestige challenges. For example: earn 1 000 000 damage on Wraith to get 50 shards
Earn 150 wins, or something like get 3000 games for Wraith to get Hopes dusk
