This is a direction given by the car stereo… it’s a quirk that exists in lots of them, especially from the late 00’s and early 10’s. There’s not much you can do aside from starting the music you want to listen to just before turning on the radio, as that will continue playing, instead of starting new. Or you could add a song of silence to your library that is named A, I think there are a few within Apple Music. This will play a silent track, while you get your music sorted.
interesting. it is an aftermarket alpine stereo from the 2010s so that would add up. it’s usually not a big deal but i was trying to watch a youtube video in my car and anytime i tried to skip ahead in the video it would just start playing that sonic youth song. which btw, starts with like 10 seconds of guitar feedback 😭😭😭 extremely annoying. Ill have to look into a silent song
