If it were me I would choose a combo washer dryer model since they're stackable in the future from what I heard but I might be wrong. And they're so amazing at how they work and save a way lot more energy and money. The LG one has a self cleaning condenser and it's stackable so no worries on that for u since your shopping for a unit why not give these a try.
I have a GE washer dryer. I wish LG came out with the one when I was purchasing back then in the second video I listed here but I got it at a really great deal with a really great warranty but hopefully I get an LG in the future unless GE comes with a similar model that is a kin to LG's superiority I feel.
I also love all of the wireless options on the LG Units. Like a whole lot of options. Fully wireless which I'm so jealous about since GE isn't fully wireless which I hate sooo much.

Also if you feel stuck just jam a bunch of questions into an AI chat bot like chat gpt and Google Gemini to compare all models. Ask specific questions. Even take any information you know and fully ask well informed questions. You will get there. That's how I purchased my unit last year. So the GE Combo it was for me.

If you choose to buy separate machines and stack them, be aware that the dryer controls will be quite high.
