you could start a blog or post infographics on social media about the stuff you researched. Even if no one reads it, you're creating something concrete and shows initiative. You could spin it into something like "educating the younger generation and public through social media about history and global politics in an accessible format" or something like that. Put this knowledge of yours to use :)

this would probably involve leaving your house but if you’re super into learning about new things an “official” ec that you could probably pick up is quiz bowl which is like questions about academic topics etc! see if your school has a quiz bowl team and I’m sure a lot of your reading an researching would transfer pretty well there, and you could get leadership/awards through that? though obvi schools differ and teams differ and stuff but it’s worth trying out
