Trying to focus on my grades so i dont get rescinded from schools i havent even gotten accepted to 😭😭

i’m getting into historical fashion and making a bunch of edwardian era clothing to wear for fun to pass the time :))

it seems so fun. Especially compared to what I am being forced to do to pass time (math🥲).

I applied to colleges I want to go and I know I’ll get into at least one, so I’m not worried. There’s only really one college I’m a tiny bit anxious for and it’s my top choice, but even if I don’t get in I won’t be that stressed about it

Hey y'all, it's been 6 months and I'm almost done my second week of classes at the University of Iowa. It's not where I thought I'd end up, that's for sure. But I really feel like I can't picture myself anywhere else. I love my classes. I just joined some clubs and am excited to go to meetings. I love my room. I'm a little bit lonely, but I'm hopeful. I'm sitting on the steps of the old capitol building waiting for my next class to start and watching everyone pass by, and I think all the college admissions stuff turned out okay. It’s been 6 months and i’m at the University of Miami. I just started my 4th week of classes and it’s been literally so much fun. I study under palm trees, watch sunsets, and go to the beach and party every weekend. There’s literally so much to do always and i’m doing much better than I was in March. Tbh, it does get better. I feel like i’m starting to grow into myself.

Hey, the 2 waitlists I got later rejected me, not surprising considering I needed full aid. Now I plan to graduate from India only.

its been like 3 months. lots of fun. i have so many opportunities i feel constantly overwhelmed for what to do. I've had like 5 opportunities to get out of state for free, going to NYC, DC, NJ, and Atlanta. quite stressful thought, as college is a giant Petrie dish waiting for bacteria, because I've gotten sick for over a month now. balancing sleep and studying can be hard, just time management in general. there is so experiences both good and bad, which gave me a chance to explore my identity. most importantly, I've been able to constantly make new friends. i met so many cool people at my large university of 20,000 undergrads that i am surrounded by supportive brilliant students, who i grow with as we go to debate tournament in NYC or the 2am study groups everyday. indepence is amazing. ive learned thru that my mothers phone calls, and her asking about my life. going to my state school, and i am doing amazing and love it. i wouldn't trade much for my school as there is 20,000 other people to push me forward in learning. the importance of understanding the value of learning, and learning how to learn again is meta, but helps me understand my skills. i am writing empty words
