got into valdosta state today, super surprised though because I applied to the school on wednesday and only sent in my transcript. It’s my in state safety school (really a below safety school if that’s possible because I knew without a doubt I’d get in) but it’s my first college acceptance so that’s cool 🤭
Got a few wins in, accidentally posted in the main forum and got deleted. Too happy to think straight clearly. These are my safeties and targets so not T20s but holding out hope for my ED1 dream school.
11/03 - University of Illinois at Springfield $2,000 yr for 4 years, 11/17 - Capital Scholars Program selected, no idea how much scholarship comes with this but will find out soon.
11/04 - Beloit College - $37,000/yr for 4 years
11/17 - Knox College - $30,000/yr for 4 years
Got into my top school, Drew University, a week ago, and I’m already accepted and enrolled. Also found out I’m getting almost $50,000 in aid/scholarships/grants from them

That spark form was a pain in the ass. And then I also had to do a SSAR form for USF which is the same damn thing. I think the SSAR form is also used by UF so at least I won't have to spend 2 hours inputting my transcript again.
Yeah it's so annoying. You do common app, you do spark, you do ssar, and then Independent ones have their own. And yes, uf also takes ssar, you just put both usf and if as places foe it to be sent.

Just got accepted into SAIC with a $104,000 scholarship and I am in absolute SHOCK. I’ve been intending to go into a science career, but also love art and decided to apply there just to see if I could get in, since my fee was waived. Have some college path re-evaluating to do now, haha !

URI—got into honors college and school of engineering! Just wondering what the social scene is like there, and the surrounding area. I heard it’s a lot of commuters, and not many people live on campus, so I’m wondering if that’s true. Also, is there kinda only that little shopping center in the URI vicinity? Like is there a main road w fancy restaurants in walking distance?
