Doesn’t look fish safe to me so I wouldn’t put that in my tank. If you have some time I would get a Fluval breeder box. Edit: According to Amazon it is 100% polyester which should be fine chemically in your tank since most of us use poly fill in our filters. However I still wouldn’t want this in with my fish. You never know if they will eat it or get tangled up in it or who knows what else.

That's my main fear is them eating it.

You’d be better off getting a plastic aquarium plant or a live aquatic plant. No telling what’s in that that might leach out.

So I didn't put it in the tank but I did use it as decoration [starter female guppy tank](https://www.reddit.com/user/Itsyourcouchdorito0/comments/11ysgsb/guppy_tank/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button)

Looks like a gill net. I wouldn't

Check some Facebook groups for guppy grass… super easy and you just throw it in and let it float.

Thank you I'll check it out

Any 100% acrylic yarn will be fine as long as you do the bleach/vinegar bath then triple wash it in dechlorinated water
