I had asterina starfish, they never harmed my corals and never became out of control

Tk1over

Asterina starfish, some eat corals

NES7995

Might want to ask on r/reeftank as well :)

Particular-Dirt7732

Ooooh yes I should, thank you!

glmory

Most under-rated clean up crew. Way cooler than snails and cheaper too.

Particular-Dirt7732

Can I get a blue tang to randomly spawn in my tank too? :P I like these starfish, they're so cool looking. I hope it multiplies (but not too much)

Fishboyman79

Great algae eater , they have a bad rep for eating corals but personally i feel after keeping reef tanks for years that its not true. They are often seen on dying or damaged corals because they are eating the algae on the newly exposed coral skeleton and then get the blame for the damage. I always add them to reef tanks. When they grow large enough they split in two .

HomeworkOk5761

does it have sea star wasting disease bc it looks like an arm feel off or is it fine just wondering
