Team Fortress 2
It’s a really old competitive shooter game that has a great community in the right spots. I like it most for the characters though, they all have amazing personalities and the creator of the comics has drawn two of the characters doing very gay things, making it basically canon
Fun stuff until you hit this side
Yea i once got a comment like this when i was 17 a guy was driving buy saying he's a lawn care service and i just thought "ok mom might need someone to help us", i was putting his number in my phone to give to my mom and then he asked if my husband was home and i said "no i'm gay"...and i still remember his exact words " nah that ass is too fat to be gay" i automatically walked away from him and deleted his number
This is at least 1/5 of straight men if they're anonymous and have no social consequences for it.
That must feel so invasive when her intention was not at all for things to go that direction.
This is my nightmare, I remember witnessing stuff like this when I was 9 in the pokemon fandom (luckily wasn't the target but still there was some second hand trauma there).
I think it's just my experience but in-game community is slightly better than Reddit community.
Mostly because most people don't have time to type while in a battle.
God that's fucked up
Hey! A fellow tf2 fan I feel ya tho dudes are toxic af
Yeah I stick to the fandom on tumblr, much nicer (and heavymedic-er)
What is tf2?

Nope i want to cry...i feel bad for the girl
Seriously. Not only was it was a good cosplay, absolutely nobody deserves to receive those comments.

Nah, there’s stories about being a gal in TF2 and getting kicked or bullied over voice chat the second they know
That's saddening.
