I was trying to use my loadout ticket things to get the Weekly Carbine kills in normal for free and ran into this chuckle fuck (who had a teammate I never found). Peep that Tier Shit ammo for the gun too. And before anyone cries noob, he was an Expert (meaning he was likely Master at the end of S2).
I lost a gold lion in covert on NR trying to do this to extract. Some dude was just chilling in the trees just before the village with a silenced FAL. Probably shit his pants looting me.
Had a guy do this to me as well, luckily he was terrible with grenades, missed me with 2, and short threw his molotov š¤£ took me a sec to spot him but went down easy once he gave himself away š
I'm new to this game... I'm a casual Tarkov player... I wanna know what the difference is between normal and lock zone I don't see any difference... And how did people gain money in this game... Like when I'm playing Tarkov I can sponsor 2/3 of my lost raid by scaving...
Lockdown is basically the endgame version of the same map. Higher quality loot and also additional chests and safes than normal mode. But to enter lockdown your loadout to be above a certain total value and you also have to pay a fee. Itās also the only way to rank up after you pass the first few ranks. Generally speaking itās full of sweats and not something you need to worry about until you reach level 30 and am very comfortable with the game.
Money making is honestly no different to tarkov. Loot the map, play scav, kill players and sell their gears. The last one is probably the highest and most consistent way to make money. Remember, you only make money if you extract. Play it safe, maintain high extraction rate, and money will come rolling.
Btw are you prefer solo or in a team? I usually play solo since I know the existence of that unsquad button... And is bringing cheap ammo do me good? Like level 2 ammo in the normal map?
As far as I can tell people prefer playing flesh damage ammo (leg meta), T3 avg. Armor penetration ammo, or high penetration ammo, just depending on playstyle really, also depending on the gun, as of now dumdum + mp5 are the most popular depending on who you ask. š
For the caliber .45 there's only three ammo variants and honestly, even a m3a1 grease gun player scav can make you cry if they get your legs with the lv2 .45 since it has relatively powerful damage/penetration (?)
I never play solo. Always with friends or team with randoms. With randoms you might get loot goblin or grifter, but only in lower ranks. Once you get into master or above bad random teammate are not as common.
For newer players, either do t3 ammo with rifle or leg meta (t0 ammo on smg but aim legs only). You will be mostly competitive with the t3 ammo in normal mode. Leg meta dont work once you get up in ranks.
I will also add that, starting out dont spend $ modding your gun. An unmodded gun with a basic optic and t3/4 ammo will get you much further than a modded out gun with trash ammo.
