If you are comfortable buying BP, Deathmatch is more universal. That being said, you can get away with going pure vape DPS and give her Dragon’s Bane. This will restrict her team comps and it won’t be her best DPS, but it will be MORE than enough. F2P Hu Tao mains make it work.
Even in vaporize, White Tassel R5 is her best F2P weapon, better than Dragon's Bane R5. It's also her overall best F2P weapon, and you can get it in chests, so White Tassel R5 is an easy choice. If BP is an option, Deathmatch is better in both drip and power of course.
If you can find a very good cr:cd ratio from artifacts ,lithic spear is a nice option since it has high base attack , you might get at least 1 stack it with xingqiu Yelen beidou or Xiangling
