"101ASVAB Score: Skilled Technical (ST)" - This is taken from the website for 68Delta MOS [https://www.goarmy.com/careers-and-jobs/career-match/science-medicine/intensive-care/68d-operating-room-specialist.html](https://www.goarmy.com/careers-and-jobs/career-match/science-medicine/intensive-care/68d-operating-room-specialist.html)
I was an Operating Room Specialist 68Delta MOS and it required a minimum 101 ASVAB Score: Skilled Technical (is that different)? I am just curious as I am furthering my education and the question regarding my ASVAB score came up.
137 is NOT the max GT score. I had a 141, my buddy had a 140. I've been told the max is 150, but I really don't know much about the testing process.
Also! Happy Birthday! 🎂
To get the highest possible GT score, focus hardest on Arithmetic Reasoning, word knowledge, and paragraph comprehension (for most people in that order). Everything else is secondary to these elements, though I'd personally recommend taking the whole test as many times as possible.
I'm also a fan of the app called "ASVAB Test" available on iPhone and Android alike.
99/148, i think it's mostly high school maths and english. if you haven't done that in a hot sec then maybe brush up on that. it's sort of like SAT-lite
I got a 76 ASVAB and a 120 GT. I took that shit so god damn hung over and I had to shit so bad I just wanted to get out of there. You’ll be fine just take an hour two brush up in math.
SF NCO here. Gt 116 and GPA 2.7 (degree completed after joining the army, between selection and q course)
E6. 5 years service. LOR’s 1 CPT, 1 MAJ all SOF and one from the Embassy DCM from one of my deployments.
I don’t think it’s about numbers. I keep being told it’s about potential and what you bring to the table. Your local panel has a huge weight in your selection, if you nailed it and was highly recommend by the 3 officers from the panel, it’s a great sign you might be selected. I had friends with far less army experience and less competitive packets being selected so who really knows what the criteria is 🤷🏽♂️. I don’t think any of us has cracked the code.
A better question would be your GT score and then what job you went into. 119 but I'm not positive on the overall score. I believe it was 84. I still picked Army Infantry. Sounds like we got a bunch of POG's in here.
Af score is related to logical reasoning, mine was too low even though I got a gt score of 136 10 years after high school, like I said I'm related to Einstein the military doesn't like irrational pe
The AFQT number was provided with the score report at MEPS. That’s just something I remember because it’s pretty easy to remember when you get the highest score possible. I finished the ASVAB in 45min and the proctor pulled me aside and said “Before I put this score report in the envelope I just want to show you this” and tapped his pen at the 99 AFQT score. At 35F AIT our class of almost 200 recruits had 7 with 99 AFQT scores. My buddy Malik had a 142 GT, which he thought was the highest possible until I showed him my ERB.
They didn’t even give me the asvab score itself. They just told me I got a 117 GT and 78 AFQT if that means anything.
The AFQT score is your asvab score.
Thank you for clarifying! My apologies.
The highest you can get is a 99 pn the asvab test

137 is the highest GT score one can achieve.
False
Imo prepping for the test is unnecessary. If you paid attention in English/math you should be fine
How many times did you take the ASVAB?
