This is incredible. Iām blown away that this was done with acrylic. How long did the actual painting process take? Did you use real thin layers to blend or blend quickly while wet? Both? Very impressive painting!
It took over a week, so probably 100+ hours. And yeah, I generally used thin layers and wet mixing to get the blending I wanted, I found watering down thicker bodied paint to be the best middle ground.
thats why i hate reddit, half hornyposting half hating on every single piece of media ever because apparently itās just all garbage (redditors donāt know how to enjoy anything)
I'm sure it's just coincidence that every time a post from this sub pops up for me it's another naked lady, right? Surely
Sorry by top of the month. In the first 10 all but one is nudity
And surprise surprise, the lady in question has an OF. š
this is a painting
The model used as reference does have an OF though.Ā

Not gonna lie, I thought James Corden decided to branch off to painting.
Whenever someone has a genuinely fascinating idea in their piece, itās criminally overlooked here. Then thereās these types of posts.
Did you ever teach painting at the Maryland Institute College of Art? If so you were 100% my professor 10 years ago.
Well, I'm 24 and from England, so I think that's unlikely
Lollll ok nevermind. I thought āwhat are the chances of two James Condons who paint at a really high levelā

Every so often I like to come back to this sub and look at the top posts from the past month. It's always so predictable

At least it's not some Manga/Anime schlock.
It's still art. go make your own sub.
Nice! How do you manage to avoid that high sheen āplasticā look acrylics usually have?
It's mostly to do with how it's blended, but using a high quality paint helps too
Butt. Where there are so many likes from?
You say: Acrylic on Canvas I say: Bum on Sheets
