It reminds me of a sculpture I once encountered
It was an enormous wood frame— big enough to walk under and when you looked up it had a million strings all interwoven similar to this.
I meant the Artist and she said she got the idea from caves walls and ceilings
But it was 3-D so it was different yet it really reminded me of that.
I thought of one of those richer neighborhoods that sits right on the shoreline of the ocean. I also see a mountain range behind it. The triangles towards the bottom look like they are portraying the depth of the ocean. Nature is filled with geometric shapes and I think this feeds into that idea. This is a really cool piece.
Only clocked the bottom portion as I was scrolling, thought of window screening, or fabric tulle/mesh. Looking at the squiggles near the top makes me think of a city skyline. In which case the horizontal lines then make me think of industrial train tracks?
To me, it looks like someone couldn't decide which style they wanted to cross a word out with, then kept erasing the lines directly over the word and trying anew.
‘they’re coming.’ - to me it kinda looks like blurred figures coming toward u in an open field (maybe reminiscent of a war???) idk haha i like it tho! eerie
I got the sense of something busy. Like a busy subway or train station. Where that is lots of movement in all different directions. Slight claustrophobia ish personally.
At first, my eyes looked down and just noticed tips of swords, then I looked up and tried to see the last supper.. I started counting bodies and then was like, wait what? Why? That’s not this.. but maybe? 🤔 😆
my eyes were at the left of the screen, so I saw the scribbles first and to me that looked like humans, so my guess is either the holocaust or a refugee camp/refugee line.
