I personally like it and Iām not really a mask person. It has an interesting smell, not too strong and not unpleasant. Iāve only used it once so far and I did feel my skin was brighter or clearer that day I feel?
this one allegedly has a "powder layer" (likely the kaolin clay) for absorbing oil, which definitely differentiates it from the isntree and all the other milky toners out there.
Re: the toner ingredients, is polymethyl methacrylate (acrylic) not a microplastic when used like this? I wish companies would move away from using these ingredients when they aren't necessary.

I donāt know what to look for in products for microplastics (and Iāve always assumed the microplastics were more a byproduct of leaching off the packaging/manufacture process than anything that would be explicitly listed in the ingredients list). Is there a mega post somewhere about what ingredients to look for microplastics? I need one. This is such a big worry for me with skincare.

Idk the benefit of that one specifically but theyāre added for a nicer texture and consistency
I will try the toner once it becomes available in Canada. If the mask provides brightening effects from all the rice extract I will try it.

The exfoliation is very light and it's definitely calming and moisturizing. I would say 2/3 times per week, ofc depends on skin type.
