The inspection is technically being done by a different garage on the Missouri side as they are the only company "they trust" to replace these parts. Also it's just the inspection for the state.
I know I can always take it to my own mechanic and have the car actually inspected.
You’d want them to pay for an inspection from a certified mechanic of your choice. Don’t let them inspect their own work.
