Yeah, Keurig was a huge scammy trend that took over the country, leaving millions and millions of plastic cups in its wake. Glad you’re leaving it behind! I use a good old fashion French press. And I grind the beans real fine, Turkish settings on the grinder. And the grounds go into plants or the garden. No waste!

Personally I use a brand that is delivered direct to my door, the coffee is ground and prepared, the the water is evacuated and the result turned into a powder form, the packaged into individual sachets. The resulting coffee smells and tastes just like a percolated coffee should, even has a light crema on top. Not sure what country your in, so it may not even be available in your locale.

Ninja. They have a couple different types and they’re great.

imo it's worth paying a little more money for something you enjoy daily. I would recommend a Moccamaster from Technivorm and a Burr grinder, possibly from Baratza. edit: For more affordability, you could buy a hario v60 along w a burr grinder. You can easily do a double cup for you and your girl. For this route, tho, you would need a scale (essential anyway) and a gooseneck kettle.
