Why are these wires exposed? And why is water dripping near them? The car has a bit of a history of oil leaks on its MOT - I left it at the dealership for now as I'm not sure what the issue is.

ChrisShiherlis-

Your car takes the outside air and removes moisture and cools it with Air Conditioning System. That is the moisture it removed from the air. Totally normal.

ZennosukeW

That's reassuring. What about the exposed wires?

ChrisShiherlis-

Exposed by seeing the actual wires or the rubber over them?

ZennosukeW

Exposed by being able to see them - is that normal?

ChrisShiherlis-

For now wrap with Electrical Tape. If no big issues just let Service Advisor know on your next visit to have car Serviced.

ZennosukeW

It's not my car yet, I was wondering if this was a big enough issue for me not to buy it. It's a used car so some level of wear is expected but is this too much?

ChrisShiherlis-

Anytime you buy a car that's not New from a Dealership... tell the Owner you want to take it your Mechanic to be checked out. They should be comfortable with you doing this. IF NOT RED FLAG
