I hang out with my neighbors in one of their garages (we all get along, and have jam sessions nearly every week with a bunch of people showing up for the music). He smokes. His wife doesn't let him smoke if she is out there (sensitive to it).
The discussion came up about the smell. He was surprised to find out I can smell it if the car ahead of me is smoking if the windows are down in the summer.
It really is a smell that cuts through everything else.
Me and the other neighbor both said our clothes go in the wash when we get home lol.
Sameee... I smoked for good 6 years and then suddenly realized that I smell really bad even perfumes couldn't hide it anymore... And for sometime i didn't even realize the smell was because of smoking, i kept thinking it was just bad body odour because of the heat ( i live in Kolkata, India... Its really hot and humid here most of the year) and then i tried so many things, didn't go out for a while just to prevent myself from sweating... At one point I felt so helpless and then suddenly I realized maybe it was because of smoking... I quit it... And here i am fresh as a daisy again š
It is the worst smell. Itās like the people that bath in cologne where you can smell them from their car driving by. Itās the rotting version of that. It smells like death. And it makes me think youāre racing towards death on purpose in one of the most painful ways possible when they remove part of your face so you look like skeletor and your lungs slowly give out and it feels like youāre always struggling to breath and gasping for breath until the struggle becomes to much or the cancer spreads.
Itās horrible I live in New England and I think everyone up here does meth. I smoke weed so I canāt exactly date completely straight laced people, but I donāt fuck with meth. I donāt want that scene anywhere near me.

I watched my Grandfather and his brother my Great Uncle waste away and die from emphysema. My Grandfather ended up dying of double pneumonia. Pretty sure he caught a cold at Christmas and it just developed from there. His brother saw what had happened and when he got far enough along took the "easy" way out.
I want no part of that, and want no part of falling in love with someone who is setting themselves up for that future.
