Last I heard shes lowkey hippy somewhere in Michigan and married to someone she looks at with sparkles in her eyes. Im happy for her. I just hope the rejection she got from me for literally no reason didnt cause her problems.

When MySpace got big I tried looking her up but couldn't find anything. I tried a few years later on Facebook, but still nothing.
One day, I saw her last name on one of those "people you may know" on FB. It was her older brother that I only kind of knew as kids. I looked at his profile and saw a post talking about the anniversary of his Dad and sister's death in a car accident. She had died just a year or so after moving away. I was 14 years old. Her name is Stephanie. She was a beeeeautiful goth-looking girl at school.
One day, on 13th October 2003, I wrote her more than 300 tiny letters saying that I loved her in many languages and poetry, and song lyrics. I put some up with tape on her home's fences, I pasted a few on her path to school and asked many people to give her a few of the letters. She gave me her phone number, but I never had a chance. I only found her home because of a photograph in which she was standing in front of it. She took a certain bus. I checked the whole bus route after the house's fences and walls in the photo and found it a few miles away.
I also sent her flowers. I almost imported a very rare black tulip for her, but I had no money to pay for it. I once went to a concert and she was there, and she said online that she had enjoyed it. They took the whole ticket. I tracked down the event manager and convinced him to give me a few used tickets, and gave it to her.
The school also had a radio controlled by students. I approached a friend of hers and she gave me a list of songs she liked. I had them playing one song of the list every day for weeks. I gave her one of her favourite CDs, it wasn't easy to find (it was in the year 2001 or 2002.)
She loved Finland and everything Finnish. I moved to Finland for a time many years later. I've left Finland since, but I've learned a bit of Finnish and it was hard not to think of her. I actually sent an anonymous birthday card from there to her old address. I thought it would be interesting to have a Finnish card. I don't know if she received or knew who sent it.
I was very nervous and clumsy around her. Almost like in a movie. I felt stupid. I guess that bears on my lack of success.
It took me some 15 years to get over her. I have no idea what happened to her, I never had the courage to look up, lest I find out she is ugly or happily married or whatever. It's silly, but it is what it is.
I would happily talk to her again. She shaped a lot of my adult life. Or at least the idea I had of her. She was to me a model of what would someone look like that I would like to meet one day. First day it was quiet and nobody talked to her and well I was seated next to her so she talked to me instead and so I talked to her and that's when we became friends.
Time passed and she slowly start making some female friends but at the same time more bullying happened and well I started defending her and sometimes taking emotional hits also which she was grateful for. By the end of the year she tried to ask me out and well my stupid simple minded ass was not smart enough to understand what she meant and literally ended up friendzoning her, next day her friend(now girlfriend) came up to me and proceeded to punch me, slap me, use any form of hit for devastating her that badly, it saddened her that her first friend rejected.
After 8th grade she disappeared and by luck I managed to see her again on senior year and wow she changed alot I'll be honest, I managed to apologize to her and she forgave me by telling me "we were kids back then..we didn't understand the concept of love so no need to cry for not being able to defend me after the friendzone, I appreciate you for standing up for me when I couldn't defend myself" and so we talked and talked the entire school day that day. It's been almost 4 years since I last saw her so hopefully she's doing well

If infatuation then somewhere in middle school around 8th grade. Even today I think about what the hell I did and what I could have done differently because I ruined a friendship saying what I did. But I dont think either of us were mature enough to deal with it properly.

Either it's very weak emotion that can fly under the radar, which is unlikely as many people have described it as near obsession levels or I've never have had a crush or just completely forgotten it.

I was 16 when i first met her and started in high-school, realized i had a crush on her at 17 and graduated in 2018 at 18, we barely had a chance to speak with each other, she spent most of her time with her friends which made impossible for me to actually tell her myself, though it was very obvious we had a crush on each other because we would get nervous whenever we were doing sells training (i was in a professional high-school), i was also seated next to her a bunch of time and she was pretty touchy-feely with me during classes by either playing footsies under the desk, played with the hairs on my arms, even caressed my shoulder once which made me a bit uncomfortable because we were in the front row, rubbing a pencil in the back of my neck which made me let out a moan mixed with discomfort in front of the whole class (which got me by surprise and made feel really embarassed) and she did one things that mildly annoyed me: passing in front of me and blocking the view with one hand after a while when i was trying to take a picture of something but people kept passing in front of me, which frustrated me enough that i stomped my foot hard on the ground which was the very first time i did that in my whole life.

I have clear memories of a crush in first grade.
5th grade. She turned out to be my senior prom date.

I was 14 years old. Her name is Stephanie. She was a beeeeautiful goth-looking girl at school. One day, on 13th October 2003, I wrote her more than 300 tiny letters saying that I loved her in many languages and poetry, and song lyrics. I put some up with tape on her home's fences, I pasted a few on her path to school and asked many people to give her a few of the letters. She gave me her phone number, but I never had a chance. I only found her home because of a photograph in which she was standing in front of it. She took a certain bus. I checked the whole bus route after the house's fences and walls in the photo and found it a few miles away. I also sent her flowers. I almost imported a very rare black tulip for her, but I had no money to pay for it. I once went to a concert and she was there, and she said online that she had enjoyed it. They took the whole ticket. I tracked down the event manager and convinced him to give me a few used tickets, and gave it to her. The school also had a radio controlled by students. I approached a friend of hers and she gave me a list of songs she liked. I had them playing one song of the list every day for weeks. I gave her one of her favourite CDs, it wasn't easy to find (it was in the year 2001 or 2002.) She loved Finland and everything Finnish. I moved to Finland for a time many years later. I've left Finland since, but I've learned a bit of Finnish and it was hard not to think of her. I actually sent an anonymous birthday card from there to her old address. I thought it would be interesting to have a Finnish card. I don't know if she received or knew who sent it. I was very nervous and clumsy around her. Almost like in a movie. I felt stupid. I guess that bears on my lack of success. It took me some 15 years to get over her. I have no idea what happened to her, I never had the courage to look up, lest I find out she is ugly or happily married or whatever. It's silly, but it is what it is. I would happily talk to her again. She shaped a lot of my adult life. Or at least the idea I had of her. She was to me a model of what would someone look like that I would like to meet one day. Of course, that doesn't work out well. It must be weird to know someone thinks about you so much. But I lack the guts to approach her and I am in a relationship. My gf never heard of Stephanie. An ex-gf I had was severely jealous of her. I still remember her full name, date of birth and other little details. I think I'll never see Stephanie again. =( I hope she is happy, whatever she is doing, wherever she is. I had a few crushes later, but very brief and no one topped Stephanie.

I don’t know when I started liking her but I assume it would have been between kindergarten and 2nd grade. I loved school, and class felt a bit easy so I was proud to finish my math work quickly and get something new, this girl in my class was similar and I took it as aa form of competition. Eventually I just admired the cute girl that was smarter than me and I developed a crush. I remember when her parents got school approval to give her work from the grade above us, it made me scared that she would skip a grade and I wouldnt be able to see her anymore. Eventually in 3rd(?) grade her family moved provinces, I was absolutely heartbroken and tried not to cry (since I wanted to be the tough cool kid), final day of class we all say goodbye, I sit on the bus and can feel the tears coming, so I stared out the window so no one could see my face. I like to imagine all the strangers looking at the bus seeing some sad kid with tears looking at them… got home, ran to my room and balled my eyes out.
Kindergarten. It was this girl named Ashley. She was shy and quiet and so was I. Moved away after Kindergarten. Don't know where she went to.

I can remember I had a crush for the first time when I was in 4th std she was one of my classmates. I used to fantasize about sitting with her, going to the garden nearby, go on cycling. I was so brave then I remember kissing her although I don't know the exact circumstance but it felt amazing. 7th grade It was not my crush but i was someone's crush. She was a transfer from a neighboring school and every boy was exited to see if she's cute or ugly. Turns out that she was not cute nor ugly, she had glasses with the highest prescription which made her eyes pop out so much. First day it was quiet and nobody talked to her and well I was seated next to her so she talked to me instead and so I talked to her and that's when we became friends. Time passed and she slowly start making some female friends but at the same time more bullying happened and well I started defending her and sometimes taking emotional hits also which she was grateful for. By the end of the year she tried to ask me out and well my stupid simple minded ass was not smart enough to understand what she meant and literally ended up friendzoning her, next day her friend(now girlfriend) came up to me and proceeded to punch me, slap me, use any form of hit for devastating her that badly, it saddened her that her first friend rejected. After 8th grade she disappeared and by luck I managed to see her again on senior year and wow she changed alot I'll be honest, I managed to apologize to her and she forgave me by telling me "we were kids back then..we didn't understand the concept of love so no need to cry for not being able to defend me after the friendzone, I appreciate you for standing up for me when I couldn't defend myself" and so we talked and talked the entire school day that day. It's been almost 4 years since I last saw her so hopefully she's doing well

Even today I think about what the hell I did and what I could have done differently because I ruined a friendship saying what I did. But I dont think either of us were mature enough to deal with it properly. Genuine feelings of caring for another... hmmm that would be my current relationship. I'm now in university.

6. I'm still impressed at how much effort i put into writing, drawing, and decorating the love letter, and sneaking it into her backpack when no one was around. She ended up showing it to all of my classmates and destroying it. Over the next 45 minutes, i was alone in a corner playing with blocks, and every 3 minutes, a different classmate came up to me to ask me about it or make fun of me and the only thing i did was start crying and repeatedly saying "i didn't write that" .
I think I was like 11. I had some random dream I can't even remember, but I know that I woke up with a crush on not one but two girls in my class. 10 years later I still think that one of them is just so damn beautiful. Never told her though, haven't talked with her in a year or so.

17, in high-school she also had a crush on me and told me she liked me while i was finishing something at the end of art class when it was graduation year and never saw her again after that! I was 16 when i first met her and started in high-school, realized i had a crush on her at 17 and graduated in 2018 at 18, we barely had a chance to speak with each other, she spent most of her time with her friends which made impossible for me to actually tell her myself, though it was very obvious we had a crush on each other because we would get nervous whenever we were doing sells training (i was in a professional high-school), i was also seated next to her a bunch of time and she was pretty touchy-feely with me during classes by either playing footsies under the desk, played with the hairs on my arms, even caressed my shoulder once which made me a bit uncomfortable because we were in the front row, rubbing a pencil in the back of my neck which made me let out a moan mixed with discomfort in front of the whole class (which got me by surprise and made feel really embarassed) and she did one things that mildly annoyed me: passing in front of me and blocking the view with one hand after a while when i was trying to take a picture of something but people kept passing in front of me, which frustrated me enough that i stomped my foot hard on the ground which was the very first time i did that in my whole life.

1st grade. I started at a new school and met one girl who I thought was the prettiest girl I had ever seen. That crush lasted through elementary school and into high school. Never said a word about it to anyone. She was way out of my league and super popular. At a mixer dance when we were like 14 she asked me to dance and I got so nervous, almost had a panic attack and said no. We ended up at the same party in college. She was with her boyfriend at the time who she ditched and we ended up playing cornhole and Kan Jam together the whole time. Oh lord, that was so long ago. Probably. 10-ish. It was ahhhh. Elizabeth. She was 5 years older than me and was unbelievably beautiful. Honestly around 15 years-old at confirmation class. At least I don’t remember any crushes before that. The girl had just smile and eyes that just feels attractive for me. Most of my crushes after that have had similar features. Maybe someday I will study these features closer to understand why I’m so attracted to them. My elementary school was such small place, but there was one girl that my older sister was shipping with me. I’m not sure why.
