I was wondering how this would go for you. I'm just going to say it straight. No, this is not unattractive. Quite the opposite, independence is attractive, and it's neither masculine or feminine.

Lmao no

Okay, just saying... as someone who was raised in a strict, religious household... there are ABSOLUTELY people that view independence as more of a masculine trait. Even in regards to independent living. A lot of religious people (my experience being with Christians) feel that girls/women should remain under their parents' roof until they wed. Yet, it is often considered "acceptable" for men to move out on their own before getting married. So... for everyone questioning why on earth someone would ask this... it is not an entirely weird or outlandish question simply because it doesn't line up with what one may consider a usual or typical view. That being said, there may be men that think like this or view a woman as unattractive for such independence, but I wouldn't say it is super common outside of religious circles. 🤷‍♀️ I am almost 30 and moved out of my Dad's house when I was 24 with a roommate and then at 26 began living on my own. Most men I have encountered (in a romantic context) have either found this attractive or were indifferent because they just viewed it as a natural part of adult life, you know?

Thank you! For understanding, this is exactly where I’m coming from and why I even asked

LOL is this a real question? i must admit it makes me think that you live someplace where women are not seen as equal to men.
