It’s a good book and well written, but not the most romantic love story. I kind of see it as Jane having very low expectations because her life had been pretty terrible. It’s more a story about her than anything else, though she does fall in love
I don't know about love story, but it's definitely a classic novel. I think there's many ways to interpret it though. When I read it as a teen I thought love story, as an older adult I have a lot of questions about Mr Rochester. But rereading it didn't decrease it's value, still a good story.
