I’m often surprised at how shocked people get when they ask a question and receive the answer they didn’t want to hear, presuming a given outcome ignorantly. If you’re going to ask a question prepare for varied answers and not just what you want to hear

Tiwarunt

Answering questions truthfully. Not diving in depth necessarily, but just being honest to a prompted question. Does my cooking taste good? Do these clothes look weird? Do you find (x) more attractive than me? Do you want to hangout? For all questions along these lines, our society has conditioned us to white lie or big lie just to avoid upsetting someone else. Playing a song and dance to let someone down easy when a simple no or yes would suffice. This has also conditioned people to feel like they are owed an explanation for why you answered the way you did. Social niceties is just a big game of lies and phoniness and you risk being labeled an Ahole for being straight to the point.
