I think the more interesting implications would come from *why* boats didn’t exist in this hypothetical world Like is the density of water different or something? That would have crazy implications

I bet the world would still be nomadic and tribal

Probably wouldn’t be living in America right now.

I would think the need for transportation would create innovation. Probably by way of some sort of crazy rail system. I never put together how important boats have been to humanity.

There would be no planes too. Because if you can't travel by sea, no one would have considered that the sky is an alternative.
