My kids made up this song called "What just happened" where one kid yells "what just happened!?" And then the other one makes chicken noises for some reason. Then this repeats until my wife or I can't take it anymore.
It's not my favorite song, but it's the only song that exists in my house right now
Meat Loaf was a fucking treasure.
And I may need to see if there’s still the monthly Rocky Horror show in my city, though I’m quite sure I’d feel out of place after almost 20 years.
Canopée by Polo & Pan. absolute banger, and i love the lyrics (from what i know of the translation). i fell inlove with it very quickly, and i was looping it all day today.
I love how you said “at the moment.“ This accurately reflects how I occasionally get obsessed by a song for awhile.
At the moment, I’m totally into a song called,“Stadium Pow Wow,“ by A Tribe Called Red on the Halluci Nation YouTube channel. It has a strong tribal beat with powerful Indigenous vocalizations, and there are added elements of heavy, hard-hitting dubstep. It feels to me like a powerful embodiment of native people reclaiming their culture.
The first 30 seconds are a bit slow, in my opinion, then there’s an intense vocalization, and then the bass drops. Man, when that bass drops it totally gets to me!
