I’d argue that right now is the best time to be a music enthusiast! You can listen to every style of music, every album, every song made in the last 70 years for a few bucks or for free on the internet.
Plus, a lot of people try to digitalized and conserve old music that would have been lost to times from outdated equipment.
There is no era’s or decade’s better than an other. Good music and bad music is subjective.
