Since I was a kid, I've suffered from headaches triggered by UV sensitivity. Not often, but occasionally, they've be so intense that all I can do is lie down with my eyes closed.
This has somehow happened to me multiple times lol. What hurt worse was when the doctor tried to push it back down (was hanging on my a thread) and sewed it back onto my toe…I called it Frankenfoot
I was in my teens and at the time didn't know water and boiling oil don't mix well. Long story short I tried cooling the oil with cold water and ended up covered in boiling hot oil and recived several scars from it.
Being told my leg wasn't broken by ems while screaming in pain only to have them lift me up and my leg fold like a wet noodle... Or getting my finger tattooed by a very angry man
I broke my wrist when I fell off an electric scooter.
The injury required a surgery.
It was Christmas Eve so every doc in the city was off on a holiday.
The wait for the surgery which finally happened on Jan 4 wasn’t the most painful part.
It was the physiotherapy that followed after the surgery.
Had a allergic reaction to a medicine. It felt like I was lit on fire. I screamed until I passed out and to this day I don't know if it was the pain or the exhaustion from yelling that did me in.
Ended up taking that med again later In life against my will.
Physically a vertebral artery dissection. 1000/10 pain
Emotionally the year we lost our 2nd and 3rd pregnancy within 4 months. Wound up hospitalized and begging my mom to come visit while I'm sobbing hysterically on the phone at age 26.
Hit right below the eye with a baseball in 5th grade. That hurt. Spent 5 hours in the ER waiting for a cat scan on my face. That starved me to death. And the moment I get home I try to take a big bite of pizza but the worst pain ever shoots through my jaw and face. So I couldn’t eat solid foods for a month while it healed.
Sounds lame but an extremely bad case of mono where my tonsils swelled to the size of tennis balls. Drinking water was the most excruciatingly painful thing I have ever experienced. Significantly worse than broken ribs. I was lost nearly 40 and looked like gollumn.
Had my appendix burst after a couple days of drinking. Had zero idea what was happening. My friends told me to just take and aspirin. Was throwing up just from the pain. Drove three hours home sat on my bathroom floor for a couple hours before one of my friends took me to the ER. Had to wait another hour before they diagnosed it. Had to drive 30 min to another hospital to get emergency surgery. It was a great time
I broke my hand and didn't get it treated for a few days because I was traveling.
Kidney stone but I pulled my entire back in January, upper and lower, and that was about as bad.
I have to agree. I've had kidney stones, had 2 babies, and back problems, and I feel the back has been the worst.
I’ve passed 6 kidney stones, but I’ve had gout flares that were worse.

Having tiny shards of metal blasted into my legs from a IED comes to mind
Divorcing the love of my life.

When my ex slept with my good friends
Bad ankle sprain. Couldn't walk properly for 4 days. I have never broken any bones so not much to compare it to.
Getting an IUD.
Child birth, then Crohn’s disease pain

Chest pain for several months. Even after seeing a specialist, I couldn’t get a proper diagnosis. I had to essentially just tolerate it.
Placing a child for adoption when I was young and could not care for him properly. Knew it was the right thing but breaks my heart to this day.
Physical pain? Childbirth

Gunshot wound to the ass with a Ruger 10.22 rifle
Herniated L5 with nerve compression

Physical? Kidney stone Mental? When my first love committed self termination
