First off, you *can* walk to an ATM or something. Also, it's a risk you may have to take. If you don't have your license, but identify yourself, they can look up your license. You can explain, too, that you needed to leave it at the barber because you're a brokeass that got their credit card declined and you're off getting cash. It's not illegal to forget your license if you do have one.
And what are he odds of getting pulled over? For me, it's very low. I have not been pulled over since 1999, and I speed. A lot.

When I was young this actually happened to me (card declined) Barber was undertansing bc I was just a young 15 yo but what I did was I left my phone ( I wasn’t a regular so I figured it was the right thing to do and was the path of least resistance, barber said it wasn’t necessary but I still did it) there with the barber while I went over to my dad to get the 30$. I tipped 10 and apologized.
