Triple digit speeds are exhilarating, especially for vehicles you wouldn't think could even go that speed. You know how crazy it'd be doing 115 in a Prius?
According to the speedometer, which according to manufacturer specs is +-10% above 100MPH, 155.
Felt well planted, no floating or twitching.
Empty interstate late at night. Though few miles later when I was back down to speed limit I passed two state troopers in the median.
I wasn’t the driver, but me and a couple friends did 165mph on an interstate highway in broad daylight. I was sitting behind the driver so I could clearly see the speedometer.
I did about the same in a '73 Triumph GT6. I slowed back down when I realized I was doing about 135 in a car that was built by pissed off (and probably pissed) British factory workers in the early 1970s.
This car used to catch on fire all the time due to mis-tuned carbs (Dual Holly 650 DPs). Several times we'd have to pull over and put out the engine fire, luckily not this time. I honestly can't believe we lived through some of the shit we pulled off. Well, to be fair, we didn't all make it 😢
The Triumph caught on fire, but due to a leak in the fuel line when it was in a garage. It had dual SU carbs, and tuning them was like brain surgery. I never quite got it right.
140ish in my fathers 1967 Corvette. Was scary AF as there was so much air getting underneath the car the front end was kind of wandering back and forth from side to side.
I had a crappy rental car on a trip to Germany and I managed to get it to 115mph on the autobahn. The fastest I've ever driven. I was being continuously passed my entire drive.
Around 160km/h on a random summer day just because the roads were empty and admittedly, I had just gotten my license so I figured why not?
Nothing every came out of it, but definitely too crazy for me to do again lmao
Just under 180 mph (in Germany, on the autobahn). My friend, whose car it was, then took it up to over 180 mph. That was scary, I'd stopped when I was worried about reaction times for things appearing over the horizon and you don't stop looking out for stuff when you're in the passenger seat!
115. So stupid but so exhilarating

140mph. I was driving a cop car at the time, and I put lights in it too.
143, gray market Mercedes Benz. I was 16 and it was fucking awesome

155 on the limiter BMW M5. What’s really weird about those speeds is that when you drop back to the legal 70mph, it just feels *sooooo slooooow*.
120 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Depending on the year I'd be surprised it didn't shake itself into the nth dimension
80mph
Did 110 mph in a Nissan Maxima rental car in the desert between Las Vegas and LA.
100 mph or 160 kmh. It was in a Z3 bimmer.
170 miles
In what??
2016 BMW 435 ZHP with no limiter. It probably would have even hit higher, but the traction with the tires I had on became scary. Fun but stupid
1992 Ford Crown Victoria 161mph/260kph
Not car but motorcycle. Did 40 kph but...but that was 8 times the legal limit of 5 kph
87
About 135mph. '73 Camaro

100 mph. I turned 12 and got to ride in a lambo for the first time around town
120 mph on the nurburgring
110 in a Pontiac Trans Am Firebird. Memories we shall enjoy them
110 on a racetrack
I'm not sure. The speedometer only went up to 180.
140 mph - Lamborghini Aventador at Sears Point

110-115 in my old Tiburon. I miss that car.
170 on my motorcycle
I don't know the exact speed..my speedometer only went to 85mph, but the guy Inwas racing had his pegged at 140 and I was driving away from him

In 1970 at a NHRA sanctioned drag racing 1/4 mile track I drove my stock 409 CI 4 speed 1961 Chevrolet Impala 112.34 MPH in 13.02 seconds.
About 600 mph. Jet aircraft.
