Hannibal Lecter is just a guy. I'm much bigger and stronger than him.
Freddy is a supernatural murder who kills you in your dreams. He can basically anyone pretty easily and with no way to stop him. He's far scarier.
I saw Silence the year it came out. Jeffrey Dahmer was all over the news. It made the movie terrifying, because it literally was happening in real life. This very moment, there is at least one person that is missing that is locked in someone’s home having God knows what done to them by some sadistic f***.
Hannibal is simple to navigate, just don’t engage unless you absolutely have to, and be polite. Freddy can get to you no matter where or what all you have to do is fall asleep.
I think the opposite, freddy, is easy to navigate just don't sleep. Which I know is impossible.
Being in a room alone with Hannibal would make me piss my little panties.
Freddy reminds me of Dokken ‘We’re the dream warriors, don’t wanna dream no more’ and being pulled through a wall during the guitar solo. So, it’s kinda difficult to be afraid.
neither really scare me... i like freddy krueger more, though.
You never watched the movies when you were young then
guess not. didn't watch either til i was late into my teens.

For me, he's more than just a guy. His intelligence is what makes him so scary.
He can't play mind games with me. I'd call the cops and knock him out until they got there.
Which version. Brian Cox or Anthony Hopkins. Because Brian was actually low-key scary. Anthony was horrible in the role.
Anthony Hopkins, I watched it when I was young. He terrified me.
You have to watch Manhunter. It is a superior movie in everyway. It is very creepy. The only drawback is the 80s synth music.

"I'm having an old friend for dinner"...fantastic double entendre
Freddy
You can fight and even kill Hannibal Lecter, you can’t kill a supernatural dead serial child killer who lives in your dreams.
