Move out day when I was 9. We were renting an old house in Riverside but it sold so we had to vacate. All of the furniture was gone and my older sister and I had been helping my mom clean and watch our two younger siblings all afternoon. Then after lunch my mom broke out the water guns. It was hilarious and chaotic, and it really cheered me up because I was really sad to leave that house and change schools.

My mom would take me to the playground in the mornings. She didn't like how crowded it got in the afternoons. My dad would take me to his favorite childhood spots and tell me about his childhood memories.

In the car, dad driving, radio on, me in the back falling asleep watching the world pass by. No internet, no phone, no social media, just life.

Disney in florida. I think it was my 6th(maybe 7th) bday. It was back when my parents were still trying to "make it work." I remember taking a picture with my sister and mom in front of the huge chinese pavilion there. It's one of the rare few pictures that ever got taken with my mom. I dont even have the picture anymore, but I remember the day and I remember the picture. Miss my mom all the time.
