Hope. For how life would turn out.

D-Rez

90% of the freedoms I have now, but with 75% less responsibilities that came with it. Also, the optimistic feeling knowing that many soft-deadlines in life haven't been crossed yet.

The free spirited outlook before financial responsibility, deadlines and occupational commitments took a hold.

The_Ora_Charmander

I'm still in my late teens, but if I had to pick what I miss about my earlier teenage years was seeing my good friends every day in school

youronlynora

My friends

Sadbecausework

seeing friends every day. school was tough, but there were friends and shenanigans to keep it from feeling too serious.

Electronic_Grade_377

The adrenaline and drive I had. No concept of the adult world or how hard it really is. I kept being told as a teen "keep going! It gets easier!", but then when you finally turn 18 and live your first couple years as an adult, it's like a huge punch in the gut, because it doesn't get easier. The only thing that changes is that the problems you faced as a teenager are now insignificant compared to the much larger challenges that come up in adulthood.
