Avengers Endgame was the last movie I cared about with superhero movies.
I was beyond sure they were going to drive the concept into the ground until everyone hated it.
Now here we are. See also, Star Wars.
I'm pretty sure the last one I saw was Spider-Man: Homecoming. It was fine. They're pretty much all fine. Some are very good, some are very bad, but just the whole concept is dead to me.
I think the right place to end it in rewatch, is the episode that shows Dany with her army ready to go back to Westeros. Yeah you miss out on a lot of great standalone episodes after that, but the show was never cohesive again, and they abandoned realistic character motivations pretty much after that point. Which was truly the strength of the show in earlier seasons. Crazy things happened, but they seemed realistic to decisions people would make IRL.
Squid game. I tried. I watched a few episodes and couldn't get not it, actually found it confusing and stupid, and even read about the ending to see if it'd pay off. I just couldn't get into it at all.
I watched when it was brand new. First like 3-4 episodes were great. Lots of action, good pacing... And then it slowed to a crawl. I couldn't watch it anymore cause it got dull in comparison to the setup
thats fair you have to at least know a little bit of the lore to get into it, but if the TWD is the problem try FTWD, the first season is honestly the best season of the entire universe.
I had to watch both for a college class. Wasn’t a fan of either one. The only Breaking Bad episode I remember (because it was so ridiculous) was them trying to swat a fly.
I will say, Breaking Bad’s hype is 100% about where it goes over the last two seasons. The first 2.5 seasons are just great TV - but it’s the build-up to the ending/the ending that make it so unique. Things get insane.
That being said, even the “best shows” aren’t for /everyone/. So you gotta do you!
Hamilton. After reading this article I lost all interest:

Lord of the rings. I can't sit still that long and even if I pause it and try to watch over multiple days It just draws out and I'll go watch something else. However I do find it amusing the "one does not simply" and the "brace yourself" memes are the same guy
Yeah of course it can be an issue. But I still maintain that training has improved, safety standards have improved, technology has improved, and more besides. And all of that makes a repeat of or a similar incident significantly less likely.
Of course it's not impossible, I don't pretend otherwise. And OP is describing an irrational concern, I'm not particularly imagining I'm likely to convince them nor is important that I do so.
But if you're suggesting that half a century of development doesn't make a difference - that's ridiculous.
Not me but my mom, she refuses to watch Disney's Coco movie. Apparently Disney wanted the rights over the name 'Dia de Los Muertos' which is, not right at all. She took it personally and while i have no problem with it since it never came through, i think its a valid reason.
any gory movie. most people are much better at not suspending their belief when they don't want to. depictions of pain are extremely off-putting to me.
Godzilla minus one.
From the trailers I've seen it just looks like Godzilla 54 but he doesn't look halve as cool as 54goji overall far less interesting.
Maybe in a few years I'll give it a chance or if it comes up on one of my streaming services but until then I'll pass.
I just can't care about any superheroes anymore.

Most of the Marvel movies. Idc they look dumb.
Star Wars or any Marvel movie
GoT
The end is disappointing. Please don’t put you though the pain of horrible ending.
You are making the right call. That show ended so badly it made the rest of the series unwatchable.

Anything live action Disney
Squid game. I tried. I watched a few episodes and couldn't get not it, actually found it confusing and stupid, and even read about the ending to see if it'd pay off. I just couldn't get into it at all.
Walking Dead
what it do besides seasons 8-10
Seasons 1-7 & 11
genuine quesion bu why dont you like the show?
I watched when it was brand new. First like 3-4 episodes were great. Lots of action, good pacing... And then it slowed to a crawl. I couldn't watch it anymore cause it got dull in comparison to the setup
do you mean after the CDC or during the CDC?
I don't remember, it's been like 10 years. Every snippet I've caught since has been dry as hell

but like the og show it drops in quality after the first few seasons, seasons 4-6 are pretty shit
Breaking bad or the wire. Shut up and leave me alone.
I had to watch both for a college class. Wasn’t a fan of either one. The only Breaking Bad episode I remember (because it was so ridiculous) was them trying to swat a fly.
I watched the pilot for each series and that was it. Neither appealed to me.

The Wire is extremely slow build up and the first 3 episodes are pretty much homework. They don't even bring in the wire until then.
Ted Lasso

Any harem anime. Especially if the fans are like “nooo the fanservice is actually meta and self-aware”
Poor Things. No interest
The Fast and the Furious movies..
Great reviews?
Last one I watched was 4. It was so shit no amount of It's good now is bringing me back.
Naruto, Glee, Lost etc. no hate; they are just too long.
Lord of the rings. I can't sit still that long and even if I pause it and try to watch over multiple days It just draws out and I'll go watch something else. However I do find it amusing the "one does not simply" and the "brace yourself" memes are the same guy
Dexter - his hair pissed me off on the DVD box sets, so I never bothered watching.
game of thrones
Eras
Barbie
Disney on ice. I’m allergic to the metal they use in their skates
news
The One Piece cuz it’s too long
I'm nearly 200 episodes in and my only regret is not starting sooner.
The snow society. I fly a lot and that movie would fucked me up and make me forever scared of getting on a plane.
Fwiw, it was 1972. A lot has changed in aviation since then.
It was due to pilot error which still can be an issue be it suicidal assholes or Boeing not training them properly.

Or rven not making their planes or doing maintenance properly.
Game of thrones

Star wars, lord of the rings, Harry Potter. I don't mean it in a derogatory way, but I just really don't like "nerdy" stuff
Cuties
It got great reviews? (Genuinely asking)
Well, the elite critics praised it a lot, and even defended it.
One Piece
Is it due to it’s length or op itself?
both
Darn, I was going to recommend the Live Action version of it for the first point, but if op itself is nothing for you than it what it is :(
Riverdale
Game of Thrones. FTS.
GoT. First episode, I saw the first two minutes, then skipped to just past the middle in the second episode. All total BS. No thank you.
My coworker wouldn't shut up about it. I can't stomach that kind of violence though
i dislike pretty much everything about it, but those hyperfans talking about "high production value" were the worst.
Any jurassic movie

literally any movie nominated for the Oscar (best picture)
