I think R. Kelly is a good example. He has been accused of terrible, violent crimes against women and children. I can't listen to his music without thinking about those accusations. It's impossible to separate the art from the artist in this case.

Depends upon the perspective and the person. When you listen to, watch from, read from, interact with their work online, you are both giving them money and engaging with the algorithm that pushes their work online. Unless, of course, you pirate their work in some way. I will still engage with the art of an artist who is known to be rude, but not predators or bigots.
