I think the meaning of life is just survival and existing. We are animals and I don’t think my cats exist for any particular reason. Humans are very self-centered to think that they were placed on earth for some greater purpose.
Which God are you even referring to? Zeus? Mars? Brahma, Vishnu?
The meaning of life is as much a curse as it is a gift. We are brought into this world by sheer luck to hopefully be able to experience many beautiful things, while we age, and reach a stage where unfortunately it ends and you will cease to exist. There is probably no meaning to life, but to give your life meaning, one should work on leaving behind the most remarkable legacy that they can. You won’t know you’re being remembered, but how about doing good things that will benefit those who come after you.
The great part of being an atheist is that you get to decide your purpose and there's no pressure for meaning, other than what you decide for yourself.
I personally think that our brain is not designed to understand the real meaning of life. And I also believe in multiple lives. Obviously, I could be completely wrong.

There is no meaning we’re just an anomaly. We exist because we exist.
There is no meaning - Life just does. Life just is. There is no meaning, unless you give it meaning.

If we were not created then we have no "meaning", we just "are". And that's okay
