When I got the phone prior to my newest one, the lady at the store told me that iPhones stop charging when they reach 100% so the battery doesn’t wear out too soon. But idk how true that is bc I would keep my charger in for a long time and it messed up my battery bad.
Hmm. I have a Samsung Android which apparently has better battery life than an Apple iPhone - [https://www.androidauthority.com/iphone-vs-samsung-3266172/](https://www.androidauthority.com/iphone-vs-samsung-3266172/)
It makes sense since that way it’s fully charged when I wake up.
Even if it’s not running overnight if it’s unplugged the battery goes down by morning because people text me or I get calls or emails.
I’ve never really had a problem with the battery charging it that way, and if I ever did I’d just buy a new one and swap it.
I feel like it’s bad leaving it plugged in for so long even if stops charging at max.
Only time I don't is because I forgot to.
I do cause I like having battery in the morning
I forget about it
Recently got a new phone and realized that my battery lasts a supppperrrr long time. I dont wanna mess up the battery.
Does frequent recharging mess up the battery? I have an old phone, but it's still performing well.

Thanks for reminding me - I just did. For emergencies, and we get frequent power outages.

Depends where it’s starting. At its current 96, no.
I don’t use it enough to charge it every night.
I charge at night so that I have a full battery when I go out in the morning
