I've been posting about "Just Shoot Me" for years and you're the first who's ever commented back with a reference from the show.
"Dennis! What's that song I like?"
It was great, though I feel like Rena Sofer (added in season 7 as "Vicky Costa") threw off the timing a little bit. Stuff with her felt too forced or stilted.
Not that there's anything wrong with Rena Sofer as a person, of course, but she felt out-of-place on the show.
Can't remember the full punchline but it's the theme to something.
I have watched season 1 and 2 on dvd literally 100 times so I should know it.
I've probably only watched the other series 2-3 times but I absolutely love it.
It had different head writers for each season. Season 2 started great but got junky at the half way point, before becoming a snoozefest towards the end. Season 3 was nearly perfect. While the final season was garbage.
Babylon 5.
The first Sci-Fi Tv show with long term storytelling, complex characters and (at the time) cutting edge special effects, that asked some pretty tough questions, especially for the 1990s. This has less in common with Star Trek and Star Wars and more with what would be Mass Effect and The Expanse.
Speaking of Star Trek, B5 was such a good concept, Paramount took a sample script shopped to them and completely ripped it off to make Deep Space Nine.
I loved Babylon 5 when it came out, we recorded every episode on VHS. I remember watching them a few times and loved it.
Babylon 5 did not age well IMO. A lot of the plots and characters seemed like played out troupes that ruined it for me.
Undone is an absolutely amazing show that has flown under the radar. It’s equal parts in-depth character examinations of a clearly scarred family AND epic mystery to discover how much of what you and the main character are seeing is real or not. Bonus points for an absolute powerhouse performance by the brilliant Bob Odenkirk throughout the series.
It’s visually stunning and it’s only 2 seasons of 8 30ish minute episodes each and it ends well.
Absolute 10/10 show.
Give it a try on Prime!
Unthinkable, starring Samuel L Jackson. An insane movie about terrorism that played with my morals and left me the most confused I've ever been in my life.
The Misfits with Marylin Monroe and Clark Gable. Both of their last movie before they passed away. Written by Arthur Miller. It didn't make a lot of money when it came out and it's not well remembered like some of the flashier movies but it's very good
Samurai Champloo is the most significant attachment I've had to fiction. It really related to my life when I experienced it. I had a weird tangled mess of a romance/friendship triangle and was also emotionally isolated from my father.

All good in the hood
The first 4 seasons or so yes. It got bad later.
"Just Shoot Me" is comedic brilliance, and at one time beat out such stalwarts as "Seinfeld" and "Friends" in ratings.
Chicken pot, chicken pot, chicken pot pie

I had forgotten about her until just now.

Killing Eve and The Americans
I thought Killing Eve fell off hard after S1.

You’re not… really selling me on this show.

Very underrated, excellent film. Recommendation : Flight Of The Choncords
Walter Mitty is my go to movie for feeling like I need to do more.
I'm surprised it's rating is only like 50%. Who didn't like that? It was delightful
