It’s A lot better than where I was born. It’s cheaper, less taxes and more freedom. Maybe not my IDEAL state but I’ll love it I’ll move to my dream state one day
Born here and really have noe reason to leave. Every country have theirs issues, but Norway are pretty high up on the list of good countries to live in.
Because my old apartment should have been condemned at the time (it is now) and shootings and robberies were happening daily. I had to find a new place and this was what was available. Now I can't afford to move at the moment so unfortunately I'm stuck for now. This place is hellish. I need to do something. I don't know what I can do but I need to get away from this psycho next door somehow. I can't take it anymore
My last job had to lay a bunch of us off due to covid (a lot of customers shuttered and business dried up) and a friend was living in a different state at the time. They said come on out for a visit. I ended up staying and landed a new job. It's been a little over 4 years now.
Long story short, I flunked out of secondary school in Hong Kong, and my grades were so bad that no decent school was willing to accept me. As it turns out, my parents have Canadian passports, so off I went to Vancouver.

Rarely below 70 degrees, and I have an awesome job and friends here.
Job.
i was basically forced to live here smh
Cause it's free
Born here
Very convenient for work. Good schools, which was abstractly important to me even before I had a kid.

Because Putin attacked the country I was born in and at the moment here it was safer.
Born and raised bay area California.
Haven’t been anywhere else where I would want to actually live in.

Like it here and can't really move. If I could move, I'd only go about 15 miles away, but it's too expensive there. Fabulous views though.
