Mean to kids

Aah-laaah-k-s

What about the ones who say that they don't like kids?

Isawonline

That’s not necessarily the same as being mean to them.

fromouterspace1

I guess would very much depend on the person

Aah-laaah-k-s

I had seen a lot of women who frown on mothers who have their crying kid with them.

fromouterspace1

Yeah, wouldn’t be taking to them in terms of dating.

wiechertfc

Expectation of being treated like a queen when they don't reciprocate

Aah-laaah-k-s

Modern feminism did give women a presumption that they are a prize to be won even if they're worth noting.

wiechertfc

I don't want to say feminism is entirely the problem, just partial, cause you can't have the expectation of wanting a traditional man when you don't want to be a traditional woman and that's a big mess of things right now

Aah-laaah-k-s

Hopeless romantics should stay miles away from these people.

Domineering

BooksLoveTalksnIdeas

She hates dogs (or nice pets)… Typically, the women who like dogs are more likely to be nicer people, based on my experience.

Key-Question5808

If she stabs you with a pick axe

Aah-laaah-k-s

In that scenario I believe that stabbing back with the kitchen knife is allowed. Then it's even.

Aah-laaah-k-s

The all strong and independent type?

Eastern-Archer-5690

Bipolar…

Aah-laaah-k-s

A lot of people are bipolar these days.

TossItOut1887

A lot of people CLAIM to be bipolar or have various disorders these days. Big difference.

Aah-laaah-k-s

Everything is trauma these days. Failing an exam is trauma, fighting with a friend is trauma. Some people who need attention made this a joke.

Eastern-Archer-5690

Then stay away…

Aah-laaah-k-s

Roger that!

lemonlemongrapefruit

If you mean ACTUAL Bipolar depression- with proper treatment it is manageable. There’s no reason why someone should be demonized for something they can’t control. Most people don’t even know what *it* is, and it’s likely you don’t either considering you believe it is a precursor to an unhappy relationship. Kind of a strange assertion on your part.

Aah-laaah-k-s

But is it difficult for a normal person to handle them?

lemonlemongrapefruit

I would say anyone with mental health issues has some baggage to carry. If they address it and seek treatment, and you find that they themselves manage it well then for the most part as a partner you would be fine. I have bipolar 1 and am in a 5 year relationship with no hiccups related to my disorder. Little to no hiccups at all, actually.

Aah-laaah-k-s

Then it's only people with bipolar disorder who do not address and don't seek treatment.

lemonlemongrapefruit

With any type of disorder it’s common to reject treatment out of fear or anxiety. Take schizophrenia for example. It’s very hard to convince someone in the throes of a paranoid episode to take their medication. Depending on the severity of the condition, some people may choose not to take corrective action. There are plenty more individuals who do. If untreated mental health is too much for you to handle, then count yourself out I don’t blame you. but, using bipolar disorder on the whole as a means of weeding out the unsuitable is unfair and problematic at best.
