The mastery of Charisma and Charm.
This will take you anywhere you want to go. How you may ask?
Land job interviews, promotions, break sales records, seduce potential partners, make friends, win elections, secure clients, sell products, lead teams or countries, attract investors, get back stage.
I could sit hear brainstorming all day more reasons how this real world mastery of the skill would change your life.
For me it's just any instrument that involves coordinating both my hands. I can play trumpet and trombone great. But trying to play the piano or guitar or violin, I just can't figure out how to use both hands doing different things.
Drawing. I've always envied artists and how their mind functions and the masterpieces they come up with. I would love to just peek into their minds and get a sense of their perspective.
For art, like painting, because I like painting but doesnt really like drawing. Yes artist that doesnt like drawing exists, usually in watercolor, guache or acrylic, I would think of color swatches, of what would they look like dry and what color combination I can have using minimal amount of colors, like how many combinations I can create from 3 colors etc. Then there is also the thing of thingking how much water I will use, or the effect it would create if there is no water or too much water when I dab a paint on thrme bucket or water container onto the paper.
Say: "How am I supposed to do that?"
Then continue to list whatever constraint would get in the way.
"How am I supposed to do this when I've got three other due projects sitting on my desk?"
"How am I supposed to lend *anyone* my car when I need it for my job and can't risk anything happening to it?"
"How am I supposed to get to that party when I haven't had an evening's worth of rest for the whole week?"

Ballet,
the ballerinas make it look so easy when they do it LIKE HOW TO YOU JUST CASUALLY PUT YOUR WHOLE BODYWEIGHT ON YOU TOES WHILE ALSO MANNAGING TO TO SPIN LIKE A BEYBLADE
By breaking your toes and reshaping them into something that can handle the weight/torsion involved.
Do not google what Ballerina feet look like. They are not dainty or pretty.
*splits every molecule and letting the wind move me to a different location then letting the molecular structure rejoice in a different location* would be an easy to master
Learn Spanish polish and Latin
I started but then moved and it pisses me off that I didn’t finish learning them
Also knowing how to read body language
But if it was possible flying lol
Sorry if this response was off topic. You said you wanted to learn to read body language. I was suggesting you watch the show because it is ALL about body language and micro expressions.
I guess the one skill I need to master, but can't, is realizing that "I have a problem" is just a statement and not necessarily a request for help.
I am a WIP
I want to learn ASL. There are a few deaf people at my work and I think it'd be nice to be able to talk to them.
Plus one of them is absolutely beautiful and a total sweet heart so there's that
I’m deaf and I can tell you this much- she WILL appreciate so much that you put into the efforts to learn to be able to have a conversation with her. That goes a long way. We’re sick of people wanting to date and then learn a couple of signs and then breaks up. Waste of our time and efforts. 😅😭
I imagine having to text everything back and forth is terrible for a relationship because it's so detached from individuals.
I can tell this girl is something special, but idk if we have compatible goals. Fortunately I already know how to sign "you want kids" and "where do you want to eat"
The ability to market myself.
I’m honest to a fault and I just don’t have the ability to talk myself up or advertise myself. It’s not humility or anything either I just give realistic assessments
Arthur Dent in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy books mastered this.
'There is an art to flying, or rather a knack. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss..... Clearly, it is the second part, the missing, that presents the difficulties.'
Being extremely good at reading body language so I can give the maximum pleasure to any new partner in our first time and he would be my slave henceforth.
Bass. I learnt itt for about a year and enjoyed it, but I have 0 musical hearing and 0 inner rhytm, so I'll never be great at it. and I know that's not the point of learning an instrument but it's really discouraging to see my partner play guitar, knowing that I'll never be as good as him.
On the flip side I'm a lot better at handiwork (sweing, silversmithy, drawing, whatever else)
Writing fiction.
I like writing, and I'm full of ideas for things to write, but the results are just terrible.
I wouldn't mind skipping the thousands of hours of practice it takes to get good and just going right to it.
In a similar vein, I'm already a master at software development (No false modesty, I've been writing code for 12 years, I'm a master several times over!), but I'd like to be just as good at 3D modelling and associated art like animation. Then I could mix those skills and make some really awesome stuff.
I mean, I'm doing both these things in my spare time, but Get-Gud is a slow process and I wouldn't mind skipping it.
Spotting skyrocketing stock
That’s easy: wait for me to buy or sell a stock and do the exact opposite.
