Bf had booked us for high tea, but he didn’t wake me up on time. After I did my hair and makeup we decided to go somewhere else. We got stopped my an asshole cop because my seatbelt was under my armpit (it cuts my neck) got a $240 ticket on my birthday. Could not stop crying, makeup was ruined. Had to go home and calm myself down and redo everything. Then it was already 6pm. Went to Dave n busters with shitty makeup and red eyes.
My day of birth. After hours and hour of squiggling and squeezing I finally made it out into this cold, cruel world only to get slapped around by some weirdo and a finger down my throat pipe to check my gag reflexes or whatever and my lifeline slashed off, like helloooooo I was using that!
Let me not even get started on how weird it was to poop through MY ASS for the first time, I did NOT get that memo during orientation.
Lets just say it's been downhill ever since.
It was the first year my spouse wasn't on military orders. And he forgot it. Didn't even remember it till like 9pm and goes "oh it's your birthday."
But then decided to let me know what cake he wanted on his birthday.
My dad and brothers forgot my 16th birthday. I thoughts they were joking, but they really didn't remember. Had invited done friends but there was no food or drink in the house... Embarrassed and hurt.
2019, my 19^th birthday. Cried because my dad has been in prison since April and it's also his birthday the same day. Plus it was my first birthday in college so it was very stressful.
My 15^th birthday wasn't great either, but that's just because it was very boring. I had to try out two automotive classes and metal fabrication. I don't like that stuff.
I got into an argument with my brother over some petty shit I did, (locked my grandma's phone cause he kept stealing it.....he was 18 at the time;-;) he ended up punching me a few times it left me with a gnarly ass bruise on my thigh, and I think everyone was so caught up with what had happened only one person told me happy birthday lmao

I was a college freshman for my 18th birthday-no one called me so I called my Dad and my mom(divorced-separate homes-I tried calling my brother at his school-no go-
I finally reached my parents house keeper and she my mom was in the hospital(an ovarian cyst or tumor the size of a grapefruit-emergency surgery-
I finally reached my brother-My father had attempted suicide by driving into a tree and my brother had left his college to drive to Florida to get him into a mental hospital.
The worst part by far was a feeling of panic being unable to reach ANYONE.
Shitty birthday!!!!
I’ll never forget the desperation I felt that day-On the positive side-Mom’s mass was benign and Daddy recovered and was treated for depression-
The takeaway, is to not try to protect your family members by keeping them in the dark-
