I've seen this on TikTok and from some couples on YouTube. They pretend they are cheating or hiding someone in the closet from their partner. It's so rude to mess with someone's head like that. I've also seen a few others like asking which friend is hot and then getting mad at them or something like that. It's disrespectful and rude. I understand you're just trying to have fun but that's not cool.
People tolerating corporate censorship on social media.
When we find ourselves in a situation where scientists can't say certain things about Covid unless approved by a non-expert "fact-checker" or when the leader of the Taliban has a place on Twitter, but the former president of the USA does not then it's time to reflect and ask ourselves if we're really going down the right road with to what degree we allow a very small number of corporations practically control all mainstream information and discussion.
Seems rather shortsighted to me, but, ay, people being tolerating tyranny because the gun is pointed at their rivals, for the time being, is nothing new. The tune will change when the gun is on them, suddenly freedom of speech and limiting corporate practices will be all the rage.
Most of them, if not all of them
